• Sea & Shore

Walk along the coastal paths and take in the breathtaking ocean views across to the Isle of Mull and the Slate Islands. Take part in rock-pooling and beach combing and discover what the local area has to offer. Watch the fishing boats bring their fresh catches on the pier next to the house. You can also launch a kayak or small boat from the Cuan to Luing ferry slipway.

  • Wildlife

Deer, seal, and sea otters can be seen locally and Highland cattle are regular visitors to the back garden. Two local sea wildlife companies specialise in tours where the likes of dolphins, whales, eagles, seabirds, and basking sharks can be seen. To find out more visit Safari Adventures or Sealife Adventures.

  • And More

The village shop is at Balvicar which is about 3 miles away and sells all essentials and has a post office. The village of Ellenabeich is also about 3 miles away and you can walk here from Kayakers Cove near the house. We recommend The Oyster Bar in the village for some delicious seafood. Further afield there is Clachan Bridge, Armaddy Wishing Tree, Oban, and a number of different lochs such as Loch Melfort and Loch Feochan.

“Great house with stunning views. We could even observe seals and otters for the conservatory. Amazing area with so much to do.”
